Sadlier-oxford Vocabulary Answers Level E

February 10, St. Scholastica

Latem 8 lipca śnił mi się taki sen, zapisałam w innym blogu:

"I wonder just why the muscle from that than from this dream is that someone tell the story of St. George. Benedict and his sister St. Scholasticism (see Time Readings from, seems to February 10, ) - and with some great of details. "And my story was a strange word St. Scholastica, so it seems was, that you can look at the world through the many windows, but only that the window is of God, looking for that feel nostalgia. Hm ..."

Now, putting it here rosysku, I began to wonder how to translate na rosyjski słowo "tęsknota" - w tym kontekście. Nie mogę znaleźć odpowiednika. W angielskim to "longing", albo ten słynny tolkienowski "langoth" ze staroangielskiego. A w rosyjskim?

summer on July 8, I have dreamed a dream, wrote in another blog in Polish:

"I wonder just why I for no reason at all dreamed that I was telling someone the story of St. Benedict and his sister St. Scholasticism (see Hour Readings from, it seems, on February 10 ) - with plenty of details. In this my stories were such strange words of St.. Scholasticism, as it sounded: that you can see the world through many different windows, but only God's window, looking at that, you feel [depression]. Hmm ... "

translating it into Russian, I realized that I could not find compliance with the Polish word" tęsknota "in this context. In Russian the word "depression" has negative connotations associated with boredom and depression, but here it is about something else. Melancholy in a positive and elevated sense. In English it would have been "longing", or the famous tolkinovsky "langoth" from Old English. And in Russian?
